Citrus Processing India Pvt. Ltd., gives high importance to occupational health and safety. We prioritize safety awareness with an in-built safety design and use of technology for safe working conditions.

CPIL has a custom-made Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Policy that features:

  • A Safety Manual
  • Compliance to legal requirements
  • An On-site Emergency Preparedness Response Plan
  • A Safety Operation Procedures
  • A Safety Monitoring Team (under the guidance of the CEO)

This policy facilitates a reliable and safe working condition ensuring full compliance.

Our Occupational Health Centre is well-equipped with the latest infrastructure to handle medical emergencies, if any. Pre-employment and periodic medical examinations of the contract workers deployed at site, including hazardous areas, are conducted as per statutory requirements.

CPIL strives to meet benchmarked global standards in safety management system and achieve the goal of zero accidents.


The company has undertaken various measures to effectively control pollution at the manufacturing facility and comply fully with the existing Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) norms.

Briquette Fired Boiler:

We have installed a world-class briquette fired boiler of Forbes Marshall. The state-of-the-art boiler, unlike conventional one runs on agri-waste as the primary fuel. This supports our intent for a sustainable and green environment while removing dependency on fossil fuel.

Solar Power Plant

As part of our 'Environment Friendly' and 'Green Initiative' we have installed a 275 kW solar power plant.

It is an on-grid, ground mounted and highly efficient plant. It comprises of solar panels from PV Powertech and inverters from ABB.


The Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) is designed & commissioned by Praj Industries, to handle the organic & hydraulic load generated by the process. The design is based on an anaerobic-aerobic process of biological treatment. The organic sludge generated is used as manure and the treated effluent is used for horticulture & maintaining the 2500 trees planted by us. The ETP is fully compliant as per the existing rules of the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB).
